    These past weeks I’ve been dancing first thing in the morning and it’s been great. Even my moods are improved. Best to start off relatively slow and work up the intensity as you go.

    Morning and evening meditation is probably a better way to go. This is the key ingredient that solidifies healthy living.

    Night time relaxation before bed can be helpful as you implied but meditation itself is more about attaining clarity and perspective, rather than making you feel tired and ready for bed. It is the essential ingredient that solidifies the whole.

    1. Hi Jason, Yes, I agree. Meditation is an excellent way to get clarity of purpose. It should be taught as part of our education while we are young and have an opportunity to improve on the results. I have to admit, I’ve only just begun meditation recently and have much to learn. Dancing in the morning sounds like a wonderful way to start the day. I know that would make me cheerful and ready for the day ahead.       1. Clarity and perspective because the more advanced forms of meditation help to integrate brain function, allowing for optimum performance. My initial exposure was through a credited course in high school, which led to meeting regularly with a meditation group. There is a lot of scientific studies conducted around the world to demonstrate its multiple health benefits, as well as its positive affect on the environment, including reduction in crime. Glad to see that you are being proactive during this pandemic. This is an ideal time for making necessary changes to improve the quality of our lives.
