What Do You Know About Nutrition?

Bringing You a Fun & Informative Nutrition Series

Nutrition Education Series

If there is one thing we’ve learned over the past few years it’s that exercise is fantastic, but it’s only half of the health and wellness puzzle. You can think of it this way, if Exercise was a person, Nutrition would be its twin. Exercise without nutrition is sad and lonely. They go hand-in-hand for a complete wellness picture.

I’m sure you know some of the benefits of exercising and watching your diet, but do you know that you don’t have to make many changes to improve your health. With exercise, you know that you don’t need to be a body-builder to be healthy. In fact, the average adult needs just 2.5 hours of exercise a week. And with nutrition you don’t need to be skinny to be healthy. In fact, the people that are too skinny aren’t healthy at all.

So what’s the trick to nutrition? There is actually no trick at all. You simply need to watch your calorie intake, eliminate sugar and salt where possible, and try to eliminate after-dinner snacking. Now don’t get me wrong, nutrition gets more complicated than that, and it is difficult to change habits, but it doesn’t have to be terribly complex and difficult. In fact, we’ll help reinforce some knowledge you already have in this informative Nutrition series.

There are basically 5 nutrition topics we’ll cover:

Vegetables

And to have some fun while learning all this great information, we’ll see what you know for each of 10 questions . You can see how you stack up before reading the answers. It’s the answers that will consist of additional information. At the end of the series, we hope you will learn something new and hopefully be able to make some lifestyle changes in your diet that you can live with.

∗ There are many factors that may influence your ability to change your lifestyle. Towards that, always check with your health care provider before making changes to your diet or exercise routines.

We look forward to sharing this important series with you and want to thank you, not only for the opportunity to bring you this information, but also for spending part of your day with us. Wishing you the best of health!
