You Really Can Beat Holiday Stress
I love Christmas. Everything about it. I love the holiday, getting together with my family and my husband’s (which we don’t do enough of these days), friends, and generally, everyone is in a good mood. But, as I was reminded today by a co-worker, not everyone is happy during the holidays and it can be an overwhelming time. And not everyone who is smiling is feeling happy. Beating holiday stress isn’t easy, but it can be done. Read on for some tips to help you cope.
What Can You Do To Beat Holiday Stress?
I am a big believer in the mental health benefits of taking an hour for yourself to exercise. It will clear your head and you’ll feel good. Don’t be Hard on Yourself – You Can Beat Holiday Stress!
Remember that you are human and no one expects everything from you. Enjoy whatever holiday you are celebrating. Remember to take deep breaths, get some exercise and some fresh air, and as the days get shorter, be sure to get out in the sunshine when you can. Be good to yourself.
