Exercise is Not Difficult

Many people complain about exercising. They say that it is too hard. That getting up half an hour earlier in the morning to go to the gym or exercise at home is difficult to do. But the harsh reality is, in any language, it’s not hard. set the alarm to exercise its not difficult Ok, maybe if you need an alarm like this it won’t be easy!

So, let’s think about the ‘it’s too hard’ excuse for a few minutes.

Someone fighting a drug addiction and trying to get clean, that’s hard.

A soldier fighting in a foreign land to protect our freedom and way of life, that’s hard.

Someone fighting cancer and going through radiation and chemo, that’s hard.

Exercising, getting up a half hour earlier, that is really not that difficult.

Look, like many of you I hate getting up early to exercise but I know that if I don’t, I won’t feel as good as I would if I put a little effort into it. Do yourself a favor, have that cup of Joe and a protein bar and push yourself to do the thing you know you should be doing.

It’s easier if you have someone to push you, but some of us do not have someone who is trying as hard or as motivated as they are. So, if you don’t live with someone who can push you, convince a friend to join you. You can go for an early morning walk together.

You can do this, it’s not hard.  Get in the car and go to the gym. Because it’s not really as hard as you think.

Other things that are not hard that will benefit your health:

  • switching fruit for that bowl of ice cream
  • eating nuts (great protein) instead of those cookies or that piece of cake
  • substituting a nice refreshing, cold glass of water for that soda

You get the idea, treat your mind and body as if it’s all you got (because it is), and it will take care of you. Because if you have your health, you have everything.
